About us
An experienced, international team of riders based in Gran Canaria and Tenerife. We speak English, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, Czech, and Polish — and we're at our happiest on two wheels.

In 2013 he started working in Spain and the rest of Europe with ex-MotoGp rider Simon Crafar who has been running his company Motovudu where he was teaching and coaching private riders on the circuits.
He also likes video and photography, his dog Choco and exploring new places and eating new food.

For Alejandro, motorcycles are about freedom, friendship, and the possibility of exploring nature in a deeper way. He currently rides a Yamaha WR250R and his dream bike is the Honda Africa Twin.
Outside of work, he enjoys all kinds of sports, travelling, and riding motorcycles. He has lived in four different countries, which gives him an open and international perspective. One of his most memorable rides was an off-road tour through the forest area near Mount Teide in summer 2023, on his Honda Africa Twin.
She has been riding motorcycles for around 10 years and currently rides a Yamaha MT-07; her dream bike is the Honda Africa Twin. For Monika, motorcycling is about freedom, excitement, and the feeling of discovering new places from a completely different perspective.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, hiking, and staying active. One of her most memorable rides was an early morning through winding mountain roads, with fresh air, mist between the trees, and new views opening up after every corner.

At Canary Ride, Katinka is an all-round team member with deep knowledge of the bikes, the company, and the daily operation. She speaks Dutch, English, German, and Spanish, and understands both the client side and the mechanical side — which makes her a valuable person for riders looking for clear and practical advice.
She currently rides a 2004 Honda Transalp 650, and her favourite bikes in the Canary Ride fleet are the Transalp 750, the BMW R 12, and the BMW F 900 GS. For Katinka, motorcycles represent the ultimate feeling of freedom. Outside work, she loves animals, nature, the sea, forests, and camping.

At Canary Ride, Andreas is a true all-rounder. You may find him welcoming clients at the counter — in German, English, or Spanish — preparing or maintaining bikes, or guiding guests through the mountain roads of the Canary Islands. His current motorcycle is a 2019 BMW R nineT Scrambler with a classic air/oil-cooled boxer engine, and one day he'd love to add a Ducati 996 to the garage.
In summer 2025, Andreas rode from Gran Canaria all the way to his hometown of Munich, crossing Portugal, Spain, the Picos de Europa, the Pyrenees, Andorra, France, and the famous Passo dello Stelvio. Four weeks, seven countries, and thousands of memories.
He loves motorcycles for the sensations they give, the natural beauty they allow you to discover, and the community that comes with riding. For Ramón, every motorcycle has its moment — riding is not only about the machine, but the experience around it.
Outside of work, he enjoys flying drones, skating, training, and creating visual content. One of his most memorable rides was exploring Fuerteventura off-road, particularly the dunes around La Pared.
He has been riding motorcycles for around 5 years and currently rides a BMW R 1250 GS Adventure, which is also his dream motorcycle. For Eduardo, motorcycles are about freedom, adrenaline, and the feeling of going out to enjoy the island from the road.
Outside work, Eduardo enjoys riding motorcycles and playing video games. One of his most memorable rides was the first time he rode up to Mount Teide, one of the most iconic motorcycle routes in Tenerife.
For Diego, motorcycles are fun, practical, and a great way to move around the island. He likes that they are easier to park, more economical than a car, and give a different sense of freedom in daily life. He currently rides a 125cc motorcycle and his first dream bike would be a Honda CB650.
In his free time, Diego enjoys physical exercise, sports, outdoor activities, and fishing. He describes himself as a resolutive person — someone who can find solutions and adapt when needed — an important quality in the day-to-day reality of a motorcycle rental business. One of his funniest riding memories is his first fall with a scooter, which he remembers more as a funny story than a bad experience.
His passion for motorcycles started when he was young — he always knew he wanted to ride, and once he had the chance to try it, he was hooked. For Victor, riding is about enjoying curves, discovering landscapes, and experiencing the unique feeling of freedom that only a motorcycle can give.
He currently rides a BMW F 900 GS, and his dream bike is the BMW R 1300 GS Trophy. Outside work, he enjoys the beach, riding, sports, and going out to eat.

Canary Ride started with a simple idea: to help riders experience the Canary Islands with great motorcycles, local knowledge, and the kind of personal service we would want ourselves.
Our founder, Ondřej Vymětalík, originally from the Czech Republic, arrived in Gran Canaria after a long motorcycle journey and quickly fell in love with the island. The landscapes, the climate, the mountain roads, and the feeling of riding all year round made the Canary Islands feel like a dream destination for motorcyclists.
What started with one motorcycle parked in a public garage and delivered personally to clients at their hotels slowly grew into something much bigger. Step by step, Canary Ride became a professional motorcycle rental company with a growing fleet, a stronger team, and a clear mission: to offer one of the best motorcycle travel experiences in the Canary Islands.
Today, we operate from two permanent bases, one in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife, with two support vans and one of the largest premium motorcycle fleets in the Canary Islands. This allows us to offer more flexibility, better support, and a smoother experience for riders who want to explore more than just one island.
But even as we have grown, our approach has stayed the same. We are still riders ourselves. We care about the quality of the motorcycles, the routes we recommend, the way clients are welcomed, and the small details that make a trip easier, safer, and more memorable.
For us, Canary Ride is not only about renting motorcycles. It is about helping people discover the Canary Islands on two wheels, with confidence, comfort, and a team that truly knows and loves these roads.
Our Timeline
Our Philosophy
We believe the Canary Islands are best discovered on a motorcycle.
Riding here is not only about moving from one place to another. It is about the feeling of freedom, the mountain roads, the views that suddenly open in front of you, the small villages, the coffee stops, and those moments when you simply think: this is why I ride.
We do not want to be just a place where you pick up a motorcycle and return it a few days later. We want to help you enjoy the whole experience: the right bike, the right route, good advice, clear communication, and a friendly team that is there when you need us.
We are riders ourselves, so we know how important the small details are. A well-prepared motorcycle, useful local tips, honest recommendations, and support if something does not go as planned can make all the difference.
Our goal is simple: we want you to feel welcome, ride with confidence, and leave the islands with stories you will remember for a long time.
Customer-First Mindset
Good service starts with listening.
Every rider is different, so we try to give personal advice instead of standard answers. From the first message to the moment you return the motorcycle, we want the experience to feel clear, friendly, and easy.
When our clients come back smiling after a day on the road, that is the best reward for us.
Commitment to Quality
Quality is one of the most important parts of what we do.
We work with a large premium fleet including BMW, Honda, Ducati, Yamaha, and Suzuki, and we keep improving how we prepare, maintain, and present our motorcycles.
For us, quality is also in the details: useful routes, clear communication, good equipment, and support when you need it. Whether it is a one-day ride or a longer motorcycle adventure, we want every client to feel in good hands.
Why we’re different
After more than 10 years in business, we have grown Canary Ride into one of the leading motorcycle rental companies in the Canary Islands. Our premium fleet today includes BMW, Honda, Ducati, Yamaha, and Suzuki. But what really sets us apart is the experience behind it: we are riders ourselves, we know the islands, and we have learned how to make a motorcycle trip feel personal, well-prepared, and easy from start to finish.
Attention to Detail
Every aspect of your ride matters to us. From the moment you book with Canary Ride, we're focused on the details. Whether it's maintaining our bikes to the highest standards, planning the perfect route, or giving personalized advice, we're committed to providing a seamless experience.
Experience
We've been in business for more than 10 years, getting to know the Canary Islands like the back of our hand. Our knowledge goes beyond just the roads – we understand what riders want. This experience shapes our top-notch service, from the bikes we provide to the routes we recommend.
