TF-21 Boca Tauce to Vilaflor de Chasna

This is the southern descent of TF-21, from Mirador de Juan Évora at the edge of Mount Teide National Park down toward Vilaflor de Chasna — one of the highest villages in Spain.

The character of the road changes as you drop. Up at Boca Tauce you’re in open volcanic landscape with Teide views and the kind of light that makes Tenerife feel like another planet. As the road descends, the lava fields give way to Canarian pine forest, sweeping mountain corners, and the cooler mountain-village atmosphere of Vilaflor at around 1,500 m.
